Data Deletion Instructions

1. Your right to deletion

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to request deletion of personal data that Rednom Innovations (“Rednom”) holds about you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, data we are required to retain to comply with a legal or tax obligation, or to establish or defend a legal claim).

2. How to request deletion

To request deletion of your personal data held by Rednom, send an email to:

Subject: “Data Deletion Request”

Include the following information so we can locate your data:

• Your full name.
• The email address(es) and/or phone number(s) associated with your account or orders.
• The Rednom-operated brand(s) with which you have interacted (for example, CeSqua).
• A brief description of the data you want deleted (for example, “all my customer data”, or “my WhatsApp conversation history only”).

3. What happens after we receive your request

• We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
• We may ask for additional information to verify your identity, particularly where the request relates to sensitive data. This is to prevent unauthorised deletion by third parties.
• Once your identity is verified, we will process your request within 30 days. Deletion covers personal data we hold, as well as, where applicable, data held by the brand involved.
• If we are unable to delete certain data because we are required by law to retain it (for example, financial records), we will tell you which data has been retained, for how long, and on what legal basis.
• Deletion requests are free of charge. If a request is manifestly unfounded or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act, and will explain the reason.

4. Deletion of WhatsApp conversation data

You can also stop receiving WhatsApp messages from a specific Rednom-operated brand at any time by replying STOP (or an equivalent opt-out phrase) to any WhatsApp message from that brand. Stopping messages opts you out of future WhatsApp communications; to additionally request that we delete your historical WhatsApp conversation data, submit a deletion request as described above.

5. Escalation

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your deletion request, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act.
